SUPER INDIAN RETURNS TO CHICAGO
Dancing Pony Productions, The Goodman Theatre and the Gichigamiin Indigenous Nations Museum select “The Curse of Blue Kwan’Tum” to headline “The Sweetest Season” Programming
Did you miss the staged reading of “The New Adventures of Super Indian/The Curse of Blud Kwan’Tum” at the Newberry Library in March 2026? You are in luck! The fine folks at Dancing Pony Productions (Louis Vasseur, Producer) has teamed with the prestigious Goodman Theatre in Chicago, IL to bring Arigon’s radio comedy script to “The Sweetest Season,” an annual event showcasing Indigenous creativity.
”The Sweetest Season” is a daylong event showcasing the Indigenous community in the Chicago area. The day will be filled with readings and workshops. The event will culminate in the staged reading at 6:00pm in the Alice Theater space in the Goodman Theater complex. Director Kennedy Naseem and producer Louis Vasseur have reunited the amazing community cast from the earlier reading.
The event is open to the public and reservations are required for many of the workshops. Tickets for the staged reading are $10.
